Stand out from the crowd

Posted by Michael Davies (Adelaide, Australia) on 18 May 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I love wide open apertures! Consequently portraiture and close-up nature photography are common themes when I go out on a shoot. This single flower stood out amongst a sea of green foliage in a raised garden bed that had me performing gymnastics with a tripod and some rocks and a cable shutter release. But, at the end of the day, it was was it to capture this pink beauty that stood out from the crowd.
