Controlled busynessPosted by Michael Davies (Adelaide, Australia) on 23 June 2009 in Abstract & Conceptual. Our final shot in this series of macros is again centered on computer memory chips - but this time the focus is on finding line and form in a busy composition. I think the composition works due to the intersecting lines drawing the eye to the bottom right corner of the near-centre chip. The shallow depth of field helps obscure the busyness of the shot, while still allowing the repetitive nature of the subject matter to show through. I think this is a nice finish to this macro series. Tomorrow we (hopefully) move onto something a little different... All images Copyright © 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. All Rights Reserved.
