St James Boulevard

Posted by Michael Davies (Adelaide, Australia) on 25 August 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The north end of Hyde Park in Sydney is informally known as "St James", from the railway station that borders the area. This shot showcases a wonderful tree-lined boulevard right down the middle as pedestrians move towards Circular Quay. You can certainly see why it's a common thoroughfare with the calmness and peacefulness that exudes.
